JOB TITLE: Structured Finance Associate

A top-tier global law firm is looking for an ambitious Associate to join their Debt Capital Markets – Securitisation and Structured Finance team in London. This role offers the chance to work with industry leaders and make a significant impact in the legal world.
The team has a strong track record in delivering top-notch legal services across various sectors, including automotive receivables, consumer receivables, trade and equipment lease receivables, and more. The successful candidate will collaborate with a global team to drive change, open new opportunities, and accelerate growth for clients and colleagues.
In this role, you will represent a diverse range of clients, including issuers, lenders, sponsors, borrowers, managers, arrangers, derivatives counterparties, trustees, depositaries, and originators of securitised assets. You will advise on structured finance and securitisation transactions and provide support during the construction and operational phases. Additionally, you will engage in business development activities, including networking events and pitch document production.
To be successful in this role, you will need 2-5 years of post-qualified experience from a top-tier firm, stellar academics (minimum 2.1 degree), and experience in structured finance work. Strong technical legal drafting skills, communication, client relations, and team-working abilities are essential.
