As a Senior Unified Communications Manager (Data Networking) you will be jointly responsible for developing the strategic direction and implementation of a resilient robust data network (wired & wireless) across Multiple sites near Cardiff. Oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the data network, ensuring compliance with security and quality standards. Manage a team of data & voice engineers/technicians.

Senior Unified Communications Manager (Data Networking)

  • Develop and manage the organisation’s network and communication infrastructure.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of network systems.
  • Coordinate with various departments to assess and fulfil their technology needs.
  • Ensure network security and data privacy.
  • Manage technology vendors and service contracts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements.
  • Create and manage budgets for network and communication systems.

Profile

A successful Senior Unified Communications Manager (Data Networking) should have:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or CCNA, CWNA, CWSP, CWDP, or CWAP.
  • Experience in data network engineering, including design, installation, configuration, testing, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent knowledge of data privacy and network security protocols.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Good understanding of public sector requirements and regulations.

Job Offer

  • Salary £46,840 to £53,602
  • NHS pension – 23.7% employer contribution
