We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant to join our team in the Energy & Natural Resources industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights to support the growth and profitability of our business.

Description

  • Preparation and production of monthly Management Accounts and Reporting.
  • Financial statement forecasting.
  • Cash and bank – monitor and control cashflow and banking across multiple project companies.
  • Work closely with Project Finance Business Partner to provide financial information for project variance analysis and ensure project CAPEX is deployed efficiently and to budget.
  • Audit
  • Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Registers, ensure accurate recognition of fixed asset additions, disposals, depreciation.
  • Oversee VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current rules.
  • Manage Payroll process in collaboration with Payroll services supplier.
  • Assist with production of business plans.
  • Management of 1 Finance Assistant

Profile

  • Finalist/Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Detailed technical accounting knowledge and proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience of large-scale capital construction projects
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages, Excel essential.
  • Flexible, adaptable and motivated with a proactive approach
  • Willingness to be proactive in a remote working environment and develop an excellent working knowledge of the business and sector.

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary range of £55,000 – £60,000
