Description

  • Preparing accurate statutory rates reports and supporting MOD rates claims while liaising with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Developing robust financial models for Actual, Forecast, and Estimate Business Rates, providing insights for business decision-making.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality responses to audit queries and ad-hoc rates analysis.
  • Supporting the transformation of the Rates Capability Centre by sharing knowledge, improving processes, and driving change initiatives.

Profile

  • Hold or be working towards an accounting qualification.
  • Have strong Excel and ERP experience, with proven financial modelling skills.
  • Be analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving.
  • Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be customer-focused, with the ability to engage effectively with auditors and stakeholders.
  • (Desirable) Understand MOD accounting rules or Single Source Contracting Regulations.
