Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Resident Manager to lead the pre-opening and ongoing operations of an exciting new luxury boutique property in Indonesia.
Currently in the final stages of interior design, this lifestyle-driven project will deliver a highly curated guest experience, combining boutique accommodation, a destination restaurant, beach club, and wellness offering. Phase 1 is scheduled for a soft opening this year. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role in shaping a standout hospitality concept from the ground up.
The Role
As Resident Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort’s pre-opening and operational phases. You will work closely with ownership at CEO level to bring the vision to life, build the team, and establish the property as a leading lifestyle destination in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the pre-opening phase, training, SOP development, and operational setup
- Drive the F&B strategy and guest experience, ensuring a strong, lifestyle-led positioning
- Oversee daily operations across rooms, restaurant, beach club, and wellness facilities
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing local team
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards and brand consistency
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and commercial performance
- Act as the on-site representative for ownership
Candidate Profile
- Energetic and hands-on leader with strong lifestyle and F&B focus
- Proven experience in boutique luxury hotels, beach clubs, or destination F&B venues
- Pre-opening experience highly advantageous
- Comfortable working in a remote island environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creating unique guest experiences
- Strong leadership, communication, and cultural adaptability skills
