Our client is a leading sub-contractor, that values hard work, teamwork and developing people. They manufacture metallic components to a range of industries, and have major customers known worldwide. They are looking for a Quality Inspector that wants to join a friendly team, and have influence in day to day operations.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Hands on Quality Inspector position, inspecting metallic components
- First offs, patrol, and final inspections to ensure customer specifications are met
- Using hand held measurement devices
- CMM operating and programming
- Working to AS9100 standards
- Documenting non-conformances
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Raise any supplier related quality issues
- Reporting directly into the Quality Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience with metal components
- Time served Quality Inspector
- Personable team player
- Computer literate
