Description
- Facilitate and manage the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Provide financial analysis to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the wider teams to achieve financial targets and improve financial performance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Participate in the development of long-term financial plans and projects.
- Engage in cost and risk management.
- Implement effective financial controls and processes.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Working towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Experience in a not-for-profit organisation or history of working with customer focused finance team
- Proficient knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills to effectively liaise with non-finance members
