We are seeking a diligent and experienced Income Manager to oversee the financial performance and income generation within the Social Housing Sector. Based in London, this permanent role involves managing, coordinating, and reporting on all income-related activities.

Description
- Manage the income team to maximise income collection and minimise arrears.
- Ensure that all income-related activities align with the organisation’s financial strategy.
- Lead on arrears lifecycle for Housing Law, Landlord and Tenant Act, Welfare Reform and legal procedures and documentation.
- Develop and implement robust income management policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present regular income reports to senior management.
- Work closely with stakeholders to improve income performance.
- Lead on the management of rent and service charge setting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and stakeholder engagement.
Profile
A successful Income Manager should have:
- Experience including knowledge of preparing legal documents, attending court and managing evictions for rent arrears.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in income management or a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong proficiency in using financial software and systems.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
