Michael Page are working with an organisation in the Not for Profit and Charities sector who are looking to appoint a Finance Officer, initially on a temporary basis, with a view to being made permanent. They are ideally looking for someone who has experience dealing with bank reconciliations in a varied finance role.

The client is a Housing Association based in West Cumbria, aiming to provide high quality housing and support services for the local community.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Finance Officer include:

  • Completing bank, payroll and control account reconciliations
  • Support the Management Accountant with month end processes
  • Being the main point of contact for any internal and external queries
  • Overseeing transactional processes

Profile

The successful Finance Officer should have:

  • Experience working in a finance setting
  • Experience completing bank reconciliations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of the housing sector would be a bonus

Job Offer

  • £17-18 per hour
  • Hybrid working (2-3 days per week in the office)
  • Potential for the role to go permanent
