We are actively seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer who will bring expertise within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be solution-focused, have a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate a high level of expertise in electrical systems with a mechanical understanding.

Description
- Maintenance and repair work to machinery
- Electrical maintenance and fault finding on motor-drives, controllers and PLC’s
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior members of the team
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
- Continually update knowledge and skills to keep up with rapid advancements in technology
- Contribute to the overall success and continuous improvement of the organisation
- Provide cover at other sites (Machine Maintenance and facilities maintenance)
Profile
A successful Electrical Engineer should have:
- A HNC Electrical Engineering or a equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of electrical systems and components
- 16th, 17th or 18th Edition IEE qualification
- Experience of working in a Manufacturing setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Superb communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
