Position: Director of Food & Beverage
Location: Queens, New York City
Salary Range: $105,000–$130,000 + Bonus + PTO + 401k
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Food & Beverage to lead all food and beverage operations within a full-service hotel in Queens, NYC. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team development across restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering
- Lead, develop, and manage department leaders and team members
- Drive revenue growth while controlling labor, food, and beverage costs
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategy, concepts, and guest experience
- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Implement and refine service standards, operating procedures, and training programs
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in hotel or large-scale food & beverage operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&Ls
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of food & beverage trends, service standards, and regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
