Court of Protection Solicitor

We are currently working with a well-regarded Legal 500 firm who are looking to bolster their Court of Protection team with an enthusiastic and passionate Associate Solicitor. You will be joining a great team who are recognised nationally for the quality of their work and their friendly and approachable service. Our client is keen to speak to individuals who have demonstrated experience in this area of law with exceptional client relationship skills and the ability to understand the range and type of clients they work with so as to identify needs.

The successful candidate will be working on a full spectrum of Court of Protection matters, including protecting and managing the property and financial affairs for a variety of clients. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working directly with individuals, their family and support networks.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a very interesting and ever-growing niche legal area where there are genuine progression opportunities available. You will be working alongside a highly ranked Partner who is recognised in this field and be key in the development of the team.

In addition to managing your own diverse case load, you can expect to assist senior team members on more complex and high value matters.

This is a rare opportunity to join a truly exceptional and growing team. A solid understanding of the Professional Deputyship Standards, Mental Capacity Act (and its Code of Practice) and the Court of Protection Practice Directions is essential.

Job Tenure: Permanent and Full-Time
Salary: £50000 – £58000 per annum
