Banking Associate – Bristol – 2-3 years PQE
Location: Bristol Office (Hybrid & Flexible)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £85,000 to £105,000
Chadwick Nott are happy to be working with a leading international law firm in their search for an Associate to join the Transactional Banking team in Bristol. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-value, cross-border finance transactions within a collaborative and inclusive environment.
The Role
This client-facing role offers exposure to a wide spectrum of banking and finance matters. Responsibilities include:
- Advising on acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and data centre finance
- Supporting on public bids, private acquisitions, and event-driven financings
- Handling investment-grade loans, asset-backed and receivables financings
- Collaborating with colleagues across UK and international offices
- Building relationships with banks, sponsors, corporates, and asset managers
- Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives
- Working closely with partners, associates, trainees, and paralegals
- Delivering high-quality legal and commercial advice
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a finance lawyer with:
- 2-3 years PQE in transactional banking
- Experience gained at an international or leading regional firm
- Strong academic background and technical expertise
- Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset
- Willingness to engage in business development
- Collaborative and proactive approach
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse and high-performing team
Working Arrangements
- This role supports hybrid working, with a minimum of three days in-office per week, subject to client needs.
