- Leading audit engagements – Managing day-to-day fieldwork, coordinating with clients, and supervising junior staff on audit assignments
- Technical oversight – Reviewing workpapers, identifying accounting issues, and ensuring compliance with auditing standards and firm methodologies
- Client communication – Serving as the primary point of contact with client financial teams, conducting meetings, and requesting documentation
- Team management – Supervising, coaching, and developing junior auditors and audit assistants
- Risk assessment – Identifying key risk areas within clients’ financial statements and designing appropriate testing procedures
- Problem resolution – Addressing technical accounting issues and audit findings with appropriate solutions
- Quality control – Ensuring audit work meets quality standards before review by managers and partners
