Description
- Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
- Review financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to audit teams, fostering professional development.
- Maintain strong client relationships and address their audit-related queries effectively.
- Identify and communicate risk areas during engagements to ensure proactive solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of audit reports and other deliverables to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the company’s overall objectives.
- Assist in the development and improvement of internal audit processes and methodologies.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in audit and assurance within professional services.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in audit-related software and tools.
