Description

Duties for the Accounts Payable clerk:

  • Manage company’s accounts payable
  • Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
  • Prepare and present reports detailing accounts payable status
  • Maintain vendor files and relationships
  • Ensure accurate and effective document control
  • Work effectively within the Accounting & Finance department
  • Comply with company policies and procedures in all activities

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
