Client Details

Our client is a large and forward-thinking housing association delivering thousands of affordable homes and community initiatives across the UK. They are seeking a finance professional with housing sector experience who can combine strong financial analysis with the ability to challenge, support, and influence senior leaders and external stakeholders.

Description

· Deliver high-quality financial analysis, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting.

· Identify emerging risks across housing and development projects, providing solutions and recommendations.

· Support business cases for new schemes and monitor the financial performance of existing ones.

· Provide financial insight and challenge to senior stakeholders, including property developers and Directors.

· Prepare and present clear, concise board papers and presentations.

· Use internal and external data to drive performance improvement and strategic decision-making.

Profile

· Qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW or equivalent)

· Proven experience working in a large housing association, ideally with exposure to complex housing projects.

· Demonstrable experience partnering with property developers or external stakeholders on large-scale schemes.

· Strong background in risk identification, financial forecasting, and business case evaluation.

· Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage senior non-finance stakeholders.

· Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to present complex financials clearly.

· Commercially minded, able to balance financial control with delivering social impact.

Job Offer

· Base salary of £52,000 – £78,000 depending on experience

· £5,000 car allowance

· 27 days annual leave

· Flexible working – 1x day on site
