Description
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
- Maintaining the accuracy of financial records
- Collaborating with team members on budget forecasts
- Managing daily transactions and updating ledgers
- Ensuring all financial operations comply with regulatory standards
- Supporting the Accounting & Finance team in auditing procedures
- Handling communications with clients and vendors
- Assisting with tax preparation and returns
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
- An understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
